Parents wanting to have their child/children baptised need to attend a baptism preparation meeting with Fr Francis. The meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm.
We are anxious that you understand what marriage means before you ask us to accept your commitment. For this reason we need at least six months notice of your intended marriage.
For those children who do not have the opportunity to prepare for their First Holy Communion via the Catholic Primary School system, there is a parish based programme of preparation. It begins in February with a 6 week introductory course (Foundations in Faith) and then later in the year there is a further 4 week course specifically focused on the Eucharist. Each class is 1 hour. Is available to all upon request. You are encouraged, especially before going into hospital, to seek anointing from your Priest, which can be administered within the community at Mass or privately.
