Baptism

People wanting to have their child/children baptised attend a baptism meeting on the 1st Sunday of the month. This program is presented by members of the parish community to help you understand the meaning of baptism.

Marriage

We are anxious that you understand what marriage means before you ask us to accept your commitment. For this reason we need at least six months notice of your intended marriage.

Eucharist

For those children who do not have the opportunity to prepare for their First Holy Communion via the Catholic Primary School system, there is a parish based programme of preparation. It begins in February with a 6 week introductory course (Foundations in Faith) and then later in the year there is a further 4 week course specifically focused on the Eucharist. Each class is 1 hour. Reconciliation

For those children who do not have the opportunity to prepare for the sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) via the Catholic Primary School system, there is a parish based programme of preparation. It begins in February with a 6 week introductory course (Foundations in Faith) and then later in the year there is a further 2 week course specifically focused on the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Confirmation

For those children who do not have the opportunity to prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation via the Catholic Primary School system, there is a parish based programme of preparation. It begins in February with a 6 week introductory course (Foundations in Faith) and then later in the year there is a further 2 week course specifically focused on Confirmation. The dates for Confirmation each year depend on the availability of the bishop. Each class is 1 hour. To find out more or to enrol please contact the parish directly.

Annointing of the Sick

Is available to all upon request. You are encouraged, especially before going into hospital, to seek anointing from your Priest, which can be administered within the community at Mass or privately.
